　　艾希莉·辛普森(Ashlee Simpson)的歌很流行，有点像之前从美国偶像(American Idol)中出来的Kelly clarkson，幸好她和姐姐杰西卡·辛普森太流行的唱片相比还是有一些不同，仿佛一个经过糖衣包装的艾薇儿，披着一袭流行摇滚的华丽袍子。

　　《Pieces of me》(艾点滴)是各大媒体热推的作品，动人且略带哀怨的情歌，在爱中迷失的心情受到男友Ryan的影响。有评论认为这首歌比艾薇儿与男友一起创作的《I'm With You》有更深的内涵。《Love Makes the World Go Round》对于道貌岸然的谎言，从来都不需要认真，一旦揭穿，调头就走。艾希莉在歌中也唱出了年轻人对恋爱斩钉截铁的决断态度。《La La》疾风劲雨式的摇滚节奏让人看到艾薇儿之外又一全新女性摇滚势力的诞生，这首歌体现了艾希莉的性感与力度。把厨房地板上做爱的幻想和略带SM的受虐情绪隐晦表露，却带着暴风骤雨般的激情，也是整张专辑中最震撼和最有力量的一曲。

　　艾希莉有比小甜甜那同样闯荡乐坛的妹妹更优秀的才华，但和艾薇儿相比，她还是太乖、太漂亮、不够反叛，要走一条摇滚的路，也不仅仅是把眼睛涂黑、打领带、穿白衬衣七分裤、和滑板少年混帮就可以解决问题，更重要的是，从骨子里散发的那种颓废和张狂的感觉，在今天新人辈出的美国流行乐坛，在R＆B和Hip hop／Rap大行其道的同时，艾希莉逐渐摆脱了姐姐的影子，但还要凸显自己的个性。夹杂在流行和摇滚中的同类商品数不胜数，也许新鲜的面孔可以使首周销量逾40万，但如果艾希莉真的要摇滚下去，还要让自己再坏一点，再放一些。
